By accessing or using Airpaw ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Airpaw is a peer-to-peer recommendation platform that enables users to:

  • Request recommendations from their contacts and friends
  • Provide recommendations and advice to others in their network
  • Connect with trusted service providers through personal referrals
  • Build a network of trusted contacts for future recommendations

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Airpaw. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent recommendations
  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or harvest user data without authorization
  • Distribute spam, advertising, or promotional materials
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Airpaw. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

5.2 Content Guidelines

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Content must not:

  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contain personal information of others without their consent
  • Include malicious code or links
  • Violate any applicable laws

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

6. Recommendations Disclaimer

Important: Airpaw is a platform for sharing personal recommendations between users. We do not:

  • Verify the accuracy of recommendations provided by users
  • Endorse any service providers, businesses, or individuals recommended
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of recommended services
  • Assume responsibility for any transactions or interactions resulting from recommendations

You acknowledge that recommendations are personal opinions of individual users and should be evaluated at your own discretion.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Airpaw and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without explicit written permission.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app settings or contacting our support team.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct harmful to other users or the Service
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIRPAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to your account or data
  • Any content or conduct of third parties on the Service
  • Any recommendations made or received through the Service

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Airpaw and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Airpaw operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
